Our Spine Affects Our Whole Body – Think of it as Chakra Alignment

The majority of people do not realize chiropractic care can influence organ function. However, there is an indirect connection between the spinal nerves in the body and your internal organ functions. Your internal organs are connected via the spinal cord and through nerve ganglia and plexuses. This is often referred to as “smaller brains” that directly affect the organs. When chiropractic care is given, it assists with keeping the spine free from interference and restore the proper curves in the spine. This marks the roadway that the nerve signals to flow freely and promotes proper organ functions. Twenty-six nerve levels provide neurological supply to vital organs and the musculoskeletal system. With that said, here are a few examples and the lack of chiropractic care results:

C1-blood supply to the head, pituitary gland, brain, face, middle ear, and sympathetic nervous system. Result: headaches, insomnia, head colds, ear infections, dizziness, or vertigo.

C2-eyes, optic nerve, auditory nerve, sinuses, forehead. Result: eye trouble, earache/infections, sinus trouble, allergy. 

C3-cheeks, outer ear, face bones, teeth. Results: neuralgia, acne, eczema.

C4-nose, lips, mouth, Eustachian tube. Results: head fever, har of hearing, and chronic runny nose.

C5-vocal cords, neck, glands, pharynx. Results: hoarseness, laryngitis, and chronic sore throat.

C6-neck muscles, shoulders, tonsils. Results: stiff neck, pain and tingling in the arm, hoarseness, tonsillitis, chronic coughs, and croup.

C7-thyroid gland, bursae in the shoulders and elbows. Results: thyroid conditions, bursitis, and laryngitis.

T1-arms including elbows, wrist, fingers, esophagus, and trachea. Result: asthma, cough, difficulty breathing, and pain in arms and hands.

T2-heart, including the valves and covering coronary arteries. Result: functional heart conditions and chest conditions.

T3-lungs, bronchial tubes, pleura, chest, breast. Result: bronchitis, chest congestion, pneumonia, and influenza.

T4-gallbladder, common duct. Result: gallbladder conditions, jaundice, and shingles.

T5-liver, solar plexus, and general circulation. Result: liver conditions, blood pressure problems, poor circulation, and arthritis.

T6-stomach. Result: nervous stomach, indigestion, IBS, and heartburn.

T7-pancreas and duodenum. Result: ulcers and gastritis.

T8-spleen and diaphragm. Result: lowered resistance and hiccoughs.

T9-adrenal and suprarenal glands. Result: allergies and hives.

T10-kidneys Result: kidney troubles, hardening of the arteries, chronic tiredness, and nephritis.

T11-kidneys and ureters. Result: acne, pimples, eczema, and boils.

T12-small intestines and lymph circulation. Result: rheumatism, gas pains, and certain types of sterility.

L1-large intestine and inguinal rings. Result: constipation, colitis, diarrhea, and hernia.

L2-appendix, abdomen, upper leg. Result: cramps, difficulty breathing, and minor varicose veins.

L3-sex organs, uterus, bladder, knees. Result: bladder troubles, painful or irregular menstruation, miscarriages, bedwetting, and many knee pains.

L4– prostate, muscles of the lower back, and sciatic nerve. Result: difficult or painful urination, lower back pain, and sciatica.

L5-lower legs, ankles, and feet. Result: poor circulation in the legs, cold feet, swollen ankles, weakness in the legs, and leg cramps.

Sacrum-hip bones and buttocks. Result: sacroiliitis and spinal curvatures.

Coccyx-rectum and anus. Result: hemorrhoids and pain at the end of the spine on sitting.
